The 8510 PCI-Bus Programmable Video Board is a PCI 32-Bit standard Universal short card designed to output data representing sync, blanking, and one channel of RGB analog video (NTSC Composite and S-Video). The 8510 board replaces the Camber 8010 and 8020 video boards.
Key Features:
- 32-bit Slave read/write PCI Video Interface board
- Pixel clock rate generated on board
- Blanking and Sync pulses are generated automatically
- Frame buffer has 4 Mbytes of on-board memory
- Control and Status registers are memory mapped and may be written to or read from for initialization and board operation
- Simultaneous scans and writes may occur to update memory when needed
- Operates under Linux or Windows operating systems
- Can be programmed to generate the following video:
- EIA-343-A, 60 Hz, Interlaced 2:1
- VGA, 60Hz, Non-Interlaced
- RS-170A, 30 Hz, Interlaced
- NTSC Composite and S-Video
- Custom video formats
- Conforms to:
- EIA Standard RS-170 (November 1957)
- EIA Standard EIA-343-A (September 1969)
- IBM VGA Reference Manual
- Operates under Linux or Windows operating systems
Modes Supported:

- Can be programmed to match video requirements
Physical Description:
The 8510 PCI-Bus Programmable Video Board is implemented on a PCI 32-Bit standard Universal short board. The board interfaces with the PCI bus back plane. At the front of the video board, there are three right angle connectors: one F-type (NTSC Composite) and one miniature 4-position DIN type (S-video) used for the analog video signals, and one HD DB-15 (VGA) used for VGA, RS170, and EIA-343-A video signals.
